An Alaskan institution with a great burger at a price that wont blow your budget. Inside is covered with pictures and small biographies of customers dating back to 1964. Its practically a history of Anchorage and its citizens. The burgers are large and delicious and the sides are well portioned. I went there with my dad as a kid growing up in Alaska. And 30 years after leaving the state, I got a chance to go back and introduce my wife from the deep south to the Arctic Roadrunner. It didnt disappoint. The family approved. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs with plenty of hdcp parking places right up front.

Cash only. Gotta take money out of an ATM at the store. Inflating their prices. No check or card. No swipe or Venmo. Lost my business almost immediately, the food looked really good too. Pity

Cash Only! Closed on Sundays! The best burger in Anchorage is here and its called the Arctic Cheese Burger. Pair the Arctic Cheese with Fries and you have an unbeatable lunch. This is the place to go on a Saturday. Campbell Creek is right next to the restaurant, so if its a sunny day you may see ducks and kayakers. No public WiFi! The Roadrunner WiFi is only for the manager, not for the public. If this review was helpful please click the Like button. Really fast paced place and I always forget that they re cash only. Fairly relaxed with a number calling system with speakers around the restaurant. There s also outside seating and bathrooms inside. As for food, I ve never been disappointed thus far, I normally stick with the cheeseburger with fries but their bacon cheese is pretty good too.
